50 Cent endorsed Andrew Cuomo for president over the weekend after one of the New York governor’s latest coronavirus briefings, which also addressed the demonstrations in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
Fiddy posted on Instagram: “THIS IS THE GUY RIGHT HERE, He doesn’t want to but we need him to be president.”
The post received support from other hip-hop heavyweights, including Kid Capri, who added, “Absolutely.” Chiefs player Jody Fortson also seemed to approve of the move.
The post also kicked off a furious political debate in the comments of Fiddy’s feed.
