Odell Beckham Jr. speaks out on George Floyd’s death

Odell Beckham Jr. expressed his frustration about the killing of George Floyd on Saturday.

“IM FRUSTRATED,” Beckham tweeted. “More so because I don’t even kno how to speak or comment on this issue that’s been goin on for so long.”

Floyd, 46, died Monday after police officer Derek Chauvin, 44, pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck after Floyd was suspected of spending a counterfeit $20 bill. Chauvin has been charged third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

The Cleveland Browns receiver tweeted he was “tired” and hates “feeling defeated.” He also expressed his deep remorse about families losing loved ones to police brutality, adding that violence is not the answer.

“Cops killing us is not the answer, us killin cops is not the answer,” the 27-year-old Beckham tweeted. “VIOLENCE WILL ONLY BRING MORE VIOLENCE.”

Beckham, who played five seasons for the New York Giants, also said he is praying that this cycle of violence will end.

“God …. I’m praying that u can place your healin hand of grace upon this world,” he posted. “We NEED u right now more than ever. This has gotta end. Enough is enough.”

Beckham, who also said he is praying for peace, called on everyone to be part of the solution and not to remain part of the problem, because he doesn’t want kids growing up in this kind of world.

A despondent Beckham — who also tweeted he’s concerned ”our world will NEVER change” — didn’t want his words to cause more Twitter fighting.

“Btw. I’m really not here to fkn debate wit any of y’all neither,” he tweeted. “So u can miss me wit any retweets or comebacks or anything . It’s just enough .

“I want better for us. Everyone”
